Finally some consistant wind 18 to 28 kts but still very gusty you had to be at the right place at the right moment but even some bigger gusts died very quickly.

Out with the crew today and the sea state was not bad but still short runs to get a 10 sec in again we have to bare off into the chop making the course to tight.

Tried a little bit different rigging n fine tuining today and it payed off even through the lulls after the gust i was still hitting high 36s.

And for the alpha its about time i caught a good consistant run.

After an hour n half of sailing at the bank something magical happened the wind died totally so vando mark n i had a good swim back LATE in the afternoon with our BIG FRIENDS hanging around SOMEWHERE , thank god we made it back safely.

Very gusty and squally today at vp. Didnt have a real good day broke my harness lines after a few runs on the bank so I had to go back in again errr so i changed booms went back out wind was cranking maybe 25 knots go back to the bank got one run and the wind diedFrown. So Me, Pierre and Mark were standing on the bank with no wind and no way of getting back. So we ended up having to swim all the way back in not much fun thats for sure.

Congrats Pierre nice Alpha mateWink

Got to VP late, rigged as the 25kts+ was blowing, walked the 200m to the water, got one gust for about 10 sec.....then it died to less than 10kts, so had to swim back in. Great fun wearing a weight jacket with over 7kg of lead. Aghhhhh...

Geez guys that's a long swim.  Did you swim straight for the ferry jetty and walk the rest?  Good thing you had your mates around, it's pretty scary doing the big swim on your own with the sun going down Frown

I am sure I have seen a doco where your friends wanted to be pals with fish..... I do not remember them swearing an oath to avoid eating swimming windsurfers!!! I would be pretty nervours.Frown(ok maybe it was only Finding Nemo but a shark is a shark!)
