Phew! Pretty much a repeat of yesterday at Kanaha today - initially fired up the 5.8 Koncept on the Manta 59, but annihalation was just around the corner as the trades slammed in early in the afternoon. Went to the 5.0 Koncept and took out my new Manta 49 for it's first run, with a 26 Falcon stuck in for good measure. This is a great little needle that is extremely well mannered in the wildly rough conditions. It's very hard to go much faster in these surf conditions but the smaller board is easier control and gybes a treat as well.

Started off on the 5.8, Manta 59 and Falcon 30. Great for a while until some cloud pushed in and turbo charged the breeze. Once again I was  attempting  to venture up to Spreck's but got hammered half way between Camp One and Spreck's were you need to get out through the break. Made my way back rather water logged and wave ravaged. Rigged the 5.0 which was good for a few runs  however l and should have been back on the 5.8. Eleven days of straight sailing eclipses the 6 or 7 sails I had since this time last year with 5 more to go. Not sure I can cope with another 28 degree day of good  sailing conditions finished off with and ice cold beer on the beach. Aloha
