It was one of those days.
Got to Peli point only to realise that I'd left my toolbox (containing fins and extensions) at home, so had to go back to retrieve them. Rigged up, planed across the river, went to gybe at the end of a gust and fell in... not enough wind to uphaul so sat and bobbed around for a good 5 minutes hoping that I wouldn't get run over by a passing boat. Finally got a gust, enough wind to uphaul and slogged all the way back to Peli pt. Wind had swung 30 degrees so ended up way upwind, wobble gybed twice, then 50m from shore the wind dropped out altogether. So I swam the kit back ashore.
