5.0 Koncept, 94L Isonic, 30cm tectonics F1 fin, peli point... should have gone 5.8 butit was gusty enough for  me to try out new new 2nd hand 07 Koncept which was a little undercooked at times but also quite nice in the gusts..

Hardies after the office party - 3x light beer for me. Rigged 5.8 then 6.6, mashed by best 25 weed fin,  successfully blooded a new 23 weed fin, hit a wall at 38, [8 peaks above 37.45] just not enough wind I think. GT31 Doppler all.

Sorted out a bit of gear tuning for "The Big Hardie's Holiday Showdown"!

Sweet day down where i grew up sailin on the leschenault estuary! nice speed spot running along sandbar heading east but a bit shallow with my 32 and just after i got my 2 sec peak hit stingray and thought ripped fin out of board was not really deep enough for 32 and weed was 32cm thick also! so shredding the weed! nice wind was good most day and ranging from 18 to 23 not filling in too well though down the line closer in! fin was big for the speeds my 30 tectonics for some reason didnt line up with the board for screw holes first time thats happened!? not sure how to fix it... without drastic action.

loved the transit harness so comfy and doesnt move an inch

Hey 25 great 5 x10, and I joined you in smashing my fave finYell, yes I wonder whether there is a fin prob generally as I feel I should be going a bit faster with the wind that thgere was?

Hards - I think if the fins are OK we just need the extra wind to push up to 40+.

I recall last year that 30 Dec was the only summer forecast [that I recall] where BOM said 25 to 33!! We have had a string of BOM 20 to 30 calls this week and they are just not quite there for the 40+ with weed fins! I can recall being fully charged with my 5.8 on 30 Dec 07! Nowhere near that today with the exact same sail!

I've received a lot of queries about Isaac's alpha, and have requested this track (but it hasn't arrived yet).

Isaac, please send your track file to info at gpsteamchallenge.com.au.
