went to race in QLDchamps  i think i wone first race in freeride class, broke my boom at the start of the second race and then crashed while leading the third race face planted the boom and i now have two lovely black eyes.wasent my best day.

State Slalom chapionships - Manly - SE 13 kt building to 16-17ish for the first couple before faling back a couple for the rest. Rigged the big stuff , it felt good, then the wind picked up a few minutes before the start, so swapped down. Too small for races 3 & 4 though. Back up for 5-8, felt much better. Overpowered in the gusts is just so much better than underpowered in the lulls when racing. Looks like the gusts were peaking a little over 20 (but we had a few small sub-10 holes in there I think) could have held the big one in that (Vando held an 8.5 all day!).

Was a great way to end the season, great racing, knackered... Loved it!
