Green IS -.o5 low tide which is the lowest low of the year-by the weather/tide predictions it should have been a corker...Started on exo tb 67 venom 38 7.8 rss mk2 then changed to the Ca 47 with maui ultra speed 26 in anticipation of stronger wind in the afterlunch session .

Wind had too much easterly so angles were all wrong for Northern Speed Run .

Squally ,rainy, patchy wind,2 swim sessions out wide, slipping adjustable outhaul units all added to the frustration but NO breakages today .

Overall disappointed ...

Green Island -Super Low tide so lots of excitement today .We arrived to Grey Skies & light wind with loads of Easterly in it-Not a good sign...

Waited for wind to pick up then rigged RSS 7.2 mk 2 F2sx 34cm MFC Slalom fin ...

Had some good runs but lots of holes in the wind & loads of shallow exposed reef -had to be really careful

Enjoyed the sail but all year we've been 5 knots lighter than ideal sailing wind strength -Frustrating++

Green Island, not a lot of wind today but the low tide gave us some flat water for a change. Still had a fun sail with a couple of runs to arlinton and back, any day sailing at green is a good day. Used Isonic 96 and crap drake 34, 6.2 airotec charge( vmg's ned repair) until i gave in and rigged Cams 7.3 North Daytona ( thanks Cam!!) Might need to buy some big sails.

Still a better day than me, even though I had a busy night shift I was so keen for a sail, only for it to start to rain and kill the wind on the coast Yell Fingers crossed for tomorrow although I think the forecast going to drop Undecided

Hey Cam the kid's snapping at your heals, what's going on Laughing

Good to see you both able to get on the water, At least some good numbers there.

Had my first go at the mouth of the Johnstone River. 100 mtrs out hit a sandbar and even thought the wind was the best I've seen here for a long time, unable to get upwind. Low tide of 0.16mtr means no water at all though the southern side of the mouth was nice and smooth with good wind. Just could'nt get to it. Such is lifeYell

They are close !!Locky had the weight advantage /efficiency advantage-probably had the most balanced set up for the conditions.I would have been better on the exo for the afteroon session -trying to water start the 7.8 in 8-10 knots on a 73 l board out wide was no fun !!

Too many choices Cam Laughing

I'll get a 7.8 Switchblade when available, I'm over trying to waterstart a race sail in crap wind.
