Argh, 1st run out the harness hook exploded. Hard slog back with no harness hook, (sore arms & sore foot from the explosion) Walk back up the Hill for replacement hook. Once back out the wind shift came ~ Southerly & steady increase in wind. At 1st, thought the 4.9m KA 2010 Koncept was too small but then a small sail is best practice in case the wind nuked as it can at the Lynfield Speed Run, survival game is better than pure power.

With the wind being Southerly we could only Reach running square to the wind. If the wind was the required South West we would be able to broad reach enabling a jump much higher in speeds.

Nice to be on the water with sunshine & wind ~ & uncrowded as usual.
