Gusty N/W 10-20 with occasional 30+ gusts...offshore at Kyeemagh on Botany with a few of the boys.

Caught a gust which might have got me a PB (woohoo!) then shifted & flung me in the water.

JP Excite 110, Mean Lines36, Gunn 5.8.

We all called it a short session as the gusts to much hard work (partic with a hangover...now goneSmile

Kurnell N/NW 0-20 knots

Most frustrating day ever! Lulls lasted 20 minutes then it would blow 15-20 for 10 sec to 5 minutes, then back to zero for another 20 minutes. You could almost guess the wind speed from the temperature, the stronger gusts were much hotter than the lulls. 5 1/2 hour session and only 45 kms. Says it all... Short runs too - Nautical mile had two gybes.

Kurnel with Mike

110xcitePE 7.2 Hellcat 40GSC fin

110xcitePE 6.3EzzySE 10" Wardog Freeweed

Pretty frustraing day waiting for some consitant wind (never showed). I stripped rhe thread on my JP34 fin forcing me to use my weedy and I was way overfined lots of fun geting some nice jumps and snap gybes on short runs, such a different board with the 10" wardog - and it was nice to be in the water in this heat.

Yeah well done Pete, especially considering the wind. Here is hoing for more PBs this summer. Do you think using the smaller board made the difference?

Just need a bit smoother water for that next 4.2 knots!! Tongue out

Karl it's board, trim, fin, conditions etc - but board & fin are a great place to start
