Tough morning at manly, regulars might have found it ok but i struggled.

I discovered 2 things though- when you change gear and haven't tuned it quite right for the conditions being quite powered don't go out and jump at 30 knots on the 1st run... it hurts but apparently is spectacular!  Must be starting to miss some bump and jump days or something.

2nd thing- i'm starting to get the hang of this gybing caper even though I dropped alot

jibing practice with richard at wello,12 to 15 knots.  104 falcon,7.8 naish 42 cm talon.

iS76, 6.6 KA Koncept, 30cm KA Slalom - Yeppoon, Wind ESE 18 - 22knots

Should have sailed the iS101 but thought there was enough.  Pointed hard upwind for a big Nm broad reach but the wind died towards the end leaving me to slog it home .  Got one good gust at start and just a bee's dick off 30 for 2 sec (Track point gave me 30.25kn).  More enjoyable conditions as swells in bay are spaced slightly further apart in SE'ers rather than NE'er.

Had a bit of fun with Ken, cool south easter was very nice while it lasted. No crowds, no kites, spot on.
