Great First Post Phil!!!! You beat my Alpha first time out. I will have to work on my Gybs!

Congatulations on all the PBs. That looks like a top place to Sail from at Sundowner Tiona Tourist Park. Would be a Great place for other People in the GPS Team challenge to go for a Sailing Holiday and get some great Nautical Mile times.

I might head down there after X-mass of a day and do some sailing and check the Park out.

Thanks Mark . Mate ,,dont know what an alpha is but I do remember cracking at least one Gyb. Its a great spot and we should definitly organise a trip down there for the Marauders. I was getting a bit of a wind shadow where I was turning around but they tell me that when it kicks in you can do a 9 or 10 k run in this location .

Welcome to the team Phil. Looks like Pacific Palms  would be an awesome spot in a cranking Nor-easterly. Only ever sailed Wallis Lake in winter westerlys . Should get down there for a sail this summer.

Hi Phil, I talked to Steve & we both agree it will be a great idea to organise a team trip down to Tiona in the NE winds in summer!

Well done phil , its a great lake and over the summer period there will be lots of sailboarding heading that way , hopefully the northeasters are back soon and we can get together for some good times
