A pleasant Christmas Eve sail on Brisbane Waters. Gusty North East wind around 15 to 20 knots. Very choppy water.

Loft 02 6.6, Tabou Rocket 140, Select weed fin 32.

Happy Christmas and good winds for 2010.

Bad luck Keef,

I don't think we can come down during the school holidays as its too difficult to find accomodation on the weekends. So maybe sometime in February and March we will head down. What I'm looking forward to is the big westerlies and getting down there in winter. The wind there has to be a bit more consistent than the lightswitch wind on Narrabeen Lagoon. Ten seconds of 30 knots and 40 seconds on 2 knots.

Brisbane Waters is a good place to sail, lots of water and easy parking. However I've found its one of the windless places on the coast. It can be blowing 30 knots at Norah Heads and the airport and be only 10 knots around Gosford.

Keef, GPS shouldn't need to be "reset" to record. As long as it's turned on, data should be going into both the card and data logger.

If you turned it off then on again there will be 2 seperate files
