Morning session with Tom Chalko at high tide to try for a better NM. Got 2 at almost identical speeds before the wind died out. 5.7m TM26 and CA50. Wind was ENE 15-20 at the start. Then it died to 11-13.

There is 30kt plus potential here in a good ENE at high tide!

Will fill the rest in this afternoon after the second session. :-)

Posted afternoon session: Wind came back with seabreeze to 15-20 again. ENE.

Started on IS87, Select 34, Koncept 5.8m for the 1 hour.

Changed to CA50 with TM26 for a few 'speed' runs. ('Claytons' speed sailing!) Tried the CA40 with KA20 assy but not faster. Back to CA50.

Great to sail in a 'shortie'. Warm water and a balmy 27C wind.
