An early (4:00am) start for a trip to the Pit. Red and I were hoping for some speed runs, but the wind was too far south. No speed but some great cruising. Great to catch up and have a chat with Kato, Andrew, and to put another face to a name - Dr Cam.

Long day for a drive to the Pit. Wind too southerly for any good speeds but sun was shining and better than being at work. Good to meet Cam from FNQ mob

Well, now I understand why there was no one at the lake

Nice session with constant SSW. A bit choppy for the Hyper but it was my only choice for the day. I meant to go for more distance but I could not sneak of work earlier. Happy with the NM

Hyper 105, severne overdrive 5.5, select weed 30

Ah, I was close Red, I said there would be .4 in your favour. .6 - not bad.

Yarrr, Marcus, a PB for the nautical mile. Great stuff. Congratulations. Sorry we missed you. Red and I thought that Sandy might be the go for the day. And I think Jacques was still washing the mud out.

Thanks Cam, yes I thin we left a little early, I am guessing that you got you 38.55 peak and your 5 x 10's in the afternoon.

Thanks Toby,

I had a couple of crashes at very decent speed for the Hyper (I had 31+ and 30+ on the dial after the crashes, my leg hurts a bit) otherwise I think it would have reached the 30 ave. Keep trying because it is possible!

Geoff: NO reason to be sorry. I had the lake for myself and I had a lot of fun on a sunset sail. Better than waking up at 4:00 am.

I'm sure Jacques will have smoother skin on his face now
