ok sail when the wind was on.

Wind arrived about 3pm, low tide and about 1-2ft chop in the bay. Found some flatter water but very scary with lots of shallow weed beds so only did one speed run. Lots of weed at the gybe spots, caught up in the fin at times but it was heaps of fun blasting around. Yay cracked 30knts. Not to bad on 10 year old gear. Dash for cash today. 12 starters, SW wind arround 20 knots but had to sail out about 300 metres to get into the wind. Congratulations on the win Dave, you managed to plane away from the start as usual. I was pleased with third after being last to get planing, you were a mere spek in the distance by the time I got going. And thanks Will, for going over the handlebars just before the finish line.

Nice little sail on the bar although the wind was a little erratic.

Hi Paul,

Doing 30 knots is a great effort on any gear, well done!!  That's hooting!!  Five PB's, must be pleased with that.  Your NM and 1 hr are both really good as well.  Be great to see your tracks on Google Earth, as you're cranking out the numbers up there.

PS quite a few of us in the GPSTC will be up at Port Dalrymple this weekend for the blockbuster event, might get to catch up if you can drop in!!

Thanks Dave, Flat waters a bit hard to find over here but I have found one run that has potential but only at low tide and it still had a running chop on it...will do some more exploring further up the river in the future. Have to work this Sat. unfortunately..hope you do well
