Falcon speed.Tushingham 6.5 then redline 5.6, 26ex. Glenorchy Queenstown. Found some better lines today. Still hard to get a good wind angle, gusty. Hour still suspect??

Hey Dan, superb Nautical mile.

No sailing around Chch today , beaches and harbour closed due to Tsunami warning(no wind either!). Apparently the water level in the harbour rose 2.2m in a hour around midday, high tide was 5 hours later fortunately. Thats a lot of water!!

We were over at Sumner mid afternoon when another surge came into the beach. The water going into the Estuary mouth was really churning, unsually so. We didn't realise it at the time, only today when the newspapers gave out the info on timing of the surges.
