Wind was anywhere from 15 knots to 25 knots and swinging from SW to WSW. When I got there it was blowing strong but by the time I rigged up and got in the water, the wind was all but gone. I waited about 20 minutes I think before the wnd came back a bit but never as strong as it was. Felt a bit underdone for most of the sail.
A bit frustrating today. Headed up the to the speed strip but the wind had too much west in it and the angle was to deep to comtemplate. There were some guys giving it a crack when I arrived but I suspect the wind swung more west after it died and came back in. Spent my time downwind of that for most of the time having a play around.
Was good to be out in the water on a Wednesday when I've been so used to only getting down on the weekends. Hopefully some more to come :o) Was surprisecd actually at how many sailors were out on the water considering it was a work day. When the wind blows no one seems to work!
