The wind was offshore at Fermoyle and on arriving i realised that the wind was very gusty where i needed a 7.3m in the lulls and a 5.7m in the gusts and after waiting for 10-20 minutes to see what the wind was doing i decided to rig for the gusts as i would have been massivly overpowered on a 7.3m. Because of that i had to wait for the bigger gusts coming through to get going and only got in 2 reasonably fast runs and the rest i was underpowered so called it a day after a couple of hours, Nice to get out on my new 5.7m though, it's an awsome sail and can't wait to get it on a speed course. The new Vector Fins Maui SL9 Alfa rocks as well
