Lovely summer day. Started with 7m on 135 then quickly on to 105l. Wind dropped for a while so a short time with 8.5m then back to most of time with 105l/7m. Good crowd out. Nice blasting though chop was a bit annoying. Knackered now as Ellen brings another cold lager before big spaghetti for tea.

With 14 mph forecast and rested from my hectic Thur/Fri we were at The Dip early to get a parking spot as the life guards were playing again and taking all the parking spaces :(
After breakfast in the van with Mag,hoping for the wind to build abit,I rigged the big freeride gear , the tide was low and only just turned so we had wind against tide all day :) I was the first windsurfer out and reached down to kite beach at The Ferry to sail with Rob (my kiter son) out with his 13m and his new Naish twin tip !!! Had some great reaches along the beach with waves one end and flat water the other :) After over an hour doing this returned to the dip for lunch - thanks Neil Hurrell for making it then out again, this time Rob was out on his Naish strapless surfboard having fun :) but by this time the sea was like sailing through a ploughed field because of the chop so beat up to the Manor ,approx. 4miles including several beats a couple of mile offshore !!! then a really broad reach back overtaking the yachts like they were standing still !!! So a 5 star day out with Rob in the sunshine and several windsurfing mates only slightely spoiled by the lumpy sea :( Now knackered and sunburnt and waiting for the next windy spell :)
