Wind was incredibly up and down - anything from about 12knots up to 25knots and swinging from SW to WSW. No-one else there but me and Jacques from the Connewarre crew. Mostly sunny and great smooth water. In the lulls I was coming off the plane on my 85L slalom board, and in the gusts never really fully powered up. Must have switched between speed board and slalom board about 20 times in the morning as the wind kept going up and down. Too erratic to try an hour so just tried speed runs when the wind was up and alphas in the quieter spells. In the end the wind dropped right back - about 11.30am - so we packed it in, only to see the wind pick up to what looked like the strongest it had been all day - just as we were finishing packing up . Still, good to get out and to push up my alpha speed a bit.
