Taylors Point, NSW, AU

18-23knots, probably more in some of the gusts

Starboard 161, VMG K70, RSR II 10.0

That was good fun, not too much traffic on the water today, after a teaspoon of HTFU i kept my foot away from the chicken strap & the board flew off the breeze.

I had an interesting moment on my quickest run where i hit a ramp & got the  whole rig airborne...

Ramsgate 15 knots NE, Kurnell 20-25 knots NE

Starboard S-Type 104, Loft Switchblade 6.8, 30cm Select Viper fin

Last minute decision by the boss: she needed to get out of the heat and suggested we head down to the bay. I managed a quick hour and a half cruising across to Kurnell (once the lasers headed home). Ramsgate was in a huge wind shadow, and half way across the bay the wind picked up. At first I regretted not taking down my 8.5, but by the time I got out in the middle, I was nicely powered up on the 6.8.

Great way to see out 2010. Roll on 2011! Cool

Happy new year everyone!

Ramsgate in the morning on the formula gear and then Kyeemagh after lunch with the slalom gear. Great fun day!

Wind started at 10kts easterly and i rigged the 9.8 RSR and headed out for an hour on the formula gear. Did a few upwind / downwind runs to the runway and back. Wind picked up to over 15kts and swung NE. Decided to head in and scoot up to Kyeemagh for some slalom blasting.

Had a good solid session up at kyeemagh with the wind now kicking in at 15-20kts. Did a few runway runs and realised pretty quickly that I was out of practice with the speed sailing.

Futura 93, RSS 6.2, Goldwing 32.

Great sail to finish the year. Lotsa guys and gals - I think the front row parking should be reserved for windsurfers only. Cool

Happy New Year to all GPSTC

Thanx Seano for the sail. Not quite as fast, but man that was fun. About got it together in the end? Chicken straps rule OK! Almost got the high wind formula sorted. A couple more go's and I think I'll have it?!!Laughing
