Needed either a bit more sail or a bit more float. Either would have been fine. Wind was really gusty but was nice to get out.Everything felt wrong in this first proper session of 2011, harness lines in wrong place, sail was twitchy, belly was fatter, wetsuit was tighter.

Nice to get wet, cant wait for a forecast that does what it is supposed to! Wind was north west which sends us out from the shore in a cross offshore direction. Not nice in the depths of winter with only a few people around. Was good to see other team members getting out and I know their scores will be decent compared to this. Some team members wouldnt get wet though, so they stayed in their vans knitting. Wink

Nice New Years sail with with Ian and Mike. The sun even came out.
Less mince pies and a dose of skill required.  Had a few spin outs as usual, I think my centre of gravity is in my left leg.

no hour speed for some reason.
