Not so good today, wind was very gusty and I found it difficult.

Thanks Arnold, sorry we missed you guysFrown, we didn't get out until about 2pm. Still had fun but me thinks we missed the best of it. We stopped by the "New Spot" on the way and were told that where we intended to sail was "The old mans spot"Surprised What did they mean by that? I saw more old men at the "New Spot".Laughing I even saw a bloke that looked strangely like one of our old team mates, but with horns????

yeah, the 'new spot' is probably best suited for big gear at mid to high tide with a bit of south in the wind.

Nice pb Graeme, not bad seeing as you have been out much.

Thanks Daz, believe me I was pretty surprised too. I'm fairly sure it was my first gybe of the day. I'm looking forward to trying the new spot, but thought that Urangan was best for me old mate Mark as he's still finding his feet. Thought the reef dodge might have been a bit too much of an added challenge for him at this stage of his sailing career. Poor old Flow has seen better days, bits starting to fall off it, I think it's time to upgrade. I'm thinking of going for a FSW style board. I'm missing the Surf too much.Frown Need to Carve.Cool Might have to have a chat to the Horned one.
