Dorans, TAS, AU Late afternoon sail at Dorans> Wind was Lite when I got there and ss.west so rigged 8.5 and the Is 121 and 48 venom. Had some nice runs up to rokeby and back. The wind turned swest and picked up to the point where I was overpowered so thats where I left Russell to have the bay to himself.

I had a blast from the past day first on a new board with the stock fin but old design Mistral Shift 03 that is super fast and Jumps were huge and felt like a dream board. Older design Freerides Rule!!!!  Sail Naish Stealth 7.0m.

I also took the Allegro that I will post separately which was a super blast as well.Cool

Well done Russell! I knew you would get a good speed out of that old "new" beast.

I think my old GT11 has finally died as it shows me disappearing in the middle of the bay,never to be seen again.

First run on the Allegro (here are the Allegro first run numbers)

Huge fun I was so surprised how much fun and how easy it got going in about 18 knots of wind with a small KA wave fin.

I ran a Stealth 7.0m on it in 15 -18 knots and it blasted it has heaps of potential to go faster..... next time I will gybe more and get a good alfa as well.

I will easy get 30 something on a good day I loved it and it love showing me what it could do. one guy thought it was a match stick

Truth be told I got the biggest surprise of all, it was fast and easy to sail fast and get plaining. The old boards have magic in them, it worth getting them out of the attic and have a blast again. I wish I blasted on it longer
