what colour sail and board were you out on today? I took some video on my GoPro and will go through the footage tomorrow. If I see you I'll try and incude it. That goes for anyone else who was out there today. I took good footage of Peter so he will be happy.

I was sailing down at South Ramp. I didn't ventrure up to the North Car Park, so I won't be in any of your footage, but I look forward to seeing it just the same.

It wasn't a big day for speed yesterday anyway, it was a nice sunny day for cruising! 

Hi Carl next time out happy to spend a bit of time with you to tune the gear. I've found that my speeds can be dramatically different when I'm not dialled in. I also reckon that big curvy fin of yours doesn't help, You should borrow a blade to test run on the board, getting the board flying off a racier fin can make all the difference.

Speaking of which I had a good sail yesterday, got the gear dialed nicely and the smooth water was a bonus. There was one time when the wind picked up nicely and my 7.8m was fully powered....its a shame a I left my gps at home ......probably did atleast 40 knots  .

Yeah I think you are right Des. The big fin doesn't help speedwise and its a bit battered and nicked. Spending a bit of time tuning will help.

Yeah I was comfortable with the set up yesterday but speed seems to be limited at the top end. My big board has seen better days and is a bit battered and probably a bit heavier due to water getting into it. I'll keep it going till it falls apart.

Dave, I sailed a few times down to the south ramp so I could have filmed you a bit. I was using the red Loft 02 and blue Tabou Rocket and wearing a red helmet.
