5 degrees is cold in anyones language for a watersport ( or any other sport in my opinion)

I encourage all to follow the link above and take a look at the icesurfing clip, looks easy (as anything done by a really competent person) but the idea scares me, 45kts on a hard surfaceSurprised

Sure scared me! Actual crashes don't seem to be too bad, though - check http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1890922559313 for an example (that's not me in the video).

The scariest thing is if the ice has big holes, like in the video. I seriously considered wearing a dry suit for ice surfing Smile
