Drove to Sandy Point with intentions of sailing in the surf. Conditions didn't look favourable so headed to Mahers, Inverloch for a early afternoon "quickie" session.  Few of the Southerly Busters (Mick & Simon) already out on the water and enjoying the conditions (15-20 kts) mid tide and reasonably flat. Went out and within 1/2 hour the wind really kicked in to about 15-25 kts. 7m Ezzy handled it well but the swell was throwing the board around a bit. Decided to call it a day rather than re-rig as I had to be home fairly early anyway. Great powered up session.

Cheers Jerry. Sounds like the conditions were good today. Been wanting to sail the Gap again but wasn't comfortable with the look of the conditions on Saturday out in front of the shop.

Great stuff guys, looks you all had a ball on the water over the weekend. Would have loved to go out, but was at Best Man duties at my bro in law's wedding. Good speed at 45 Evan, and Seb you were smoking in the bay, looks your ankle is OKSmile
