Pelican Point, WA, AU

got out for the slalom racing, couldn't make up my mind of what sail to use though, rigged my 6.2 decided it was too small so came in rigged my 7 got out then the wind came in so came back in and rigged up the 6.2 again only to get out and have the wind drop and some of my most disapointing races yet, all up i'm still feeling grumpy and disapointed

6.2 reflex, 7.0 reflex, 6.2 reflexYell, 85 sonic, 30 jp sl

Sail before Peli slalom. Wind was marginal and patchy to start and filled in just before the racing.

Had a few fun runs almost to the freeway over the rollercoaster chop.

LB7,s100,gw32.

Scarrgo, I know it is frustrating. We all have bad days from time to time,

The more gear you have the harder it is to make the right choice. Jesper went for the big board and it paid off. Generally for the racing the biggest you can hang on to is the best idea.

On the upside I couldn't catch you across the wind before the racing so you were going well and a PB mile.Cool

Pinnaroo Point, WA, AU It was strong enough  for 6m, looked in the car and I left it at home! Rigged up 6.6 - good outcome. Just my 92l FSW was still too jumpy to go any faster. Still great day, best for me this year.

More PB's? They are popping up everywhere! Congratulations guys!

Sean, you are doing well when lao can't catch you. Well done.

Sean, are you going to be at the windforce school on Saturday afternoon?

Sean, I shall be down there on Saturday afternoon to hire some boards so it will be nice to meet you.

If you see a lady with 5 teenage girls come and say hi.

will all six of you be looking to hire some gear,if so would it all be the same gear ie. all beginner, even if its not all the same gear i would recomend you get there earlier than you planned because while the forcast is looking good it will be reasonably buisy and for a big group of 6 or so it is a slow process to get all the gear together ready to go and paid for especialy when justin my boss is doing a lesson and i'm all on my lonesome to deal with all the rentals and any other lessons left over. The other reason to get there earlier on saturday is once again the forecast looks good and if you are bringing some beginners they will have the most fun and progress the fastest in about 10 to 12 knots of seabreeze.

anyway we will see how it all pans out

might see you tomorrow wind dependant if you go down to point walter, i'm planning on giving it a go if theres enough wind

I am planning to go to Pt Walter tomorrow afternoon (as I probably won't get any good sailing done on Saturday with helping all the girls) so hopefully will see you there. Just look for your board's twin and a red Koncept unless it's over 25knots!

Re Saturday - I have my board and my daughter has one so we thought we'd hire just two boards for the other 4 to share. Beginners boards. They are all about 13 yo so not too big but not too small either. I realise earlier would be better than later with that forecast but we can't get down there until 2.30 or 3 because of other commitments.

alright if its only 2 sets of gear that should be pretty easy that also means the stronger winds won't be a problem either because we do have some small and very small sails just not 5 sets so that should be all good

as for point walter i will definatly be on the 85 sonic but sails will either be a orange 5 koncept or a red 6.2 reflex, if i need to get out any bigger gear i won't bother with point walter and will just go to lucky bay
