Another milestone towards summer no boots today. Sea fairly flat. Powered up OK but could have done with more wind. Enjoyed blasting around and tried a run off the wind to see speed. Stick 3-4 knots on top.

Full days sailing in the sun.  Went for distance for a change with the hope of pushing 100kms.

Morning session was on Slalom 76 which I did the hour speed with but then swapped boards as the wind filled in a bit more consistantly.

finished with a few burn-ups with my Dad and then Rik.

First session with the gps this year having been too busy to get out.  All new kit - went well given the conditions (plenty of re-bound chop with the water level up) and how non-windsurf fit I felt!

Didn't sail for too long as more wind is forecast for Sat-Sun-Mon so will look forward to getting more tuned-up and dialled-in now that I have made an initial assessment of how it all goes.

Big Ben was creeping away from me on most points of sail but maybe by only a knot or two so I have a chance of clawing some of that back and perhaps around a course it should average out with my lightweight build.
