Just as predicted it turned offshore and dropped just after I started sailing,  Never really powered up but when went offshore only had to swim in 50m, could have been worse. Wonderful rainbow and hail, well it is officially first day of summer.

Barely slept last night checking the forecast for WK at various intervals and waiting to see if  it got better - made the decision not to go. Southend looked hit and miss so ended up in Poole harbour - not quite what I expected yesterday! It turned out to be a great sail - wild conditions but the new 5.5 is impressive. Found some flat bits of water at times but generally scarey stuff in the chop!

Thursday Night Racing @ Brog. Wind started light but during the race the wind picked up and we started planing more regularly. After finishing the race I had a bit of a blast up and down. It was during that time that I got my alpha result.
