F2 Missile S, KA Koyote 5.3, Meanline 28cm

Another hardcore day at the Pit. Was hoping for the 30 knots forecast a few days ago but it was a fair bit more, struggled on the 5.3 especially getting out from behind the dunes. It was incredibly gusty and without the cams to hold the sail's shape it was flapping all over the place. Only did 4 runs again but at least I didn't break anything  Probably should have done one more to make it a real 5x10 but on the last run I only went half way down and felt too overpowered so I decided to quit while I was in one piece. After my last trip down there I learnt that I need to work my way up to 40+ speeds and not try and jump straight in on world record kit. I got a bigger fin, more like what the standard fin would have been on the Missile and it felt so much more secure. It would have been nice to get that extra knot on the dial but I'm still happy. Better than being at work
