If there's a bright side, or maybe a little glimmer, how awesome to sail so far off shore, doing 34/35+ nautical mile adverages in crystal water, 6 or so K's from any land sticking above the water and 30+ K's off the coast, with only you and a mate, now that's an experience you wont forget in a hurry 

Also now you know why the mad Doc is called Camikaze

It might've been the earlier crash that stressed it.  The one's I have seem bullet proof (even their tendons)

I replaced the tendon maybe 3 months ago buggar nothing last anymore

sometimes the replacement ones arent the same brand as the orignal. at least you knew how to do the self rescue with it. Its a long swim to port douglas from that far out.

Your record is safe Trops, I don't think Vandal Man will be game to put his big toe in the FNQ water for awhile
