LOCATION: ANGLING CLUB

WIND: SW- 15-25 KTS

TIDE: LOW TO INCOMING

GEAR:  CA FR 63, 32 C3 VENOM, UP TO CA FR 77, 36 C3 VENOM, KA KOYOTE 5.9

DETAILS:  Great Invy session with Wooz and Pete.  Got on the water as the tide was still going out.  The wind was hitting 25 kts from the SW in the gusts.  The lulls were about 10 kts but it was really predictable.  You would see a cloud formation fly over from the south-south west and seconds later the wind would increase by 10-15 kts

Got rigged and hit the water.  The bank has totally changed!  I could almost run the entire length at low tide!....pulled up a bit short on the first few runs but found some deeper water about 10 metres from the bank.  As the tide came in the entire strip came into play.  Great runs all the way!

Eventually the tide took the flat water away but it was still fun to run out to the red mark and back.  Pete got onto some great runs and we did a few chasing runs.  Wind started to drop away. but as I derigged (4.30pm) it came up again

thanks Chun,

Paul came down and got rigged but the tide had filled in too much by the time he was ready to hit the water.  He managed to change the combination on my Surflock when he borrowed a socket so I spent a nice half hour playing "safecracker"!!!
