Golden Beach, QLD, AU Great sail today, beautiful clear blue water when I first got out and the tide was higher. Wind a bit gusty and light on initially but filled in a bit better after a while.  Fun sail.Cool  Had to leave to do the school pick up, left Hawk there still blasting along.

6.4 Koncept 84 JP 32 select.

Queens Beach with Ulf and quite a crew towards the end. First time with the new board and sail, this is a very nice combo for cruising, was getting to used to it by the end.

Another distance PB, Well done Rudi. How do you feel now? A bit tired i bet. I near;;y went to the lake today.  Suffered it out in the heavy swell instead.

Hey Astrid it is great to pull off those gybes. I bet you knew it was good.

Congrats on the PBs everyone, and particular congrats to Ulf for the big distance and great speeds in all categories at Queens. You must have had a full on day Bill. 83ks at Queens is probably the record. Up for chasing the 100?

Wintery cold here in Christchurch but the north easter is hammering at 30 kts. Going up to the ocean beaches today to see if there's any wavesailing going on.

Hey Ragnar don't worry we all had a short chat re your recent trip. I thought I saw a ghost as a RED aerotech rapidfire came out on the water. It was of course Haggar the Horrible on the new and I must say very nice looking Futura 111.

I was going for the 100 at the start, but at 27 nautical miles I cut my heel on the fin . The rest of the sail I sailed on the front of my foot. Anyway you would know how that swell feels doing 70km the other day. It took roughly 12:30 to 04:00 to get to 40 nM , so I knew I couldn't sail another two hours with changing down. I sailed a bit more then said that is enough. But yes we could do 100 on a good day.
