Russell Dowd (3632km): Dorans, TAS, AU Naish sp 135 ltd 7.5 KA Koncept Got wet and also had a good swim. Just went out and then the wind went from South west to south east!!! Then when i packed up to go to the pond it hammered in south west as I was driving home. Next time... that 135 Naish planes in nothing and is fun to use, nice to plane into glassy water thinking this is unreal I will look to doing some adventure sailing on this board, it points upwind and is so comfortable for being so big. Hope others had a blast in the south west today? came in big end first. If we had speed boards ready and a 4.6 I am sure we would have some huge speeds in that first blast. Stay happy Russ
Paul Tenteye (2696km): Nice sail at Lagoon bay with ben and a few others. No flat water to be found until nearly dead low tide at about 7pm by that time I was too stuffed to sail anymore. Killer chop in the bay all day with heaps of current in the main channel, hard to maintain any speed. wind was good Hawk/is86 loft 7.0/5.6 venom32
Ben Wilson (2339km): Lagoon Beach low head. As Paul said it was very hard to find any even semi flat water today. Biggest tidal movement I have seen at low head both in and out. Still a great day with the wind staying in and very consistent all day. Managed to hold the 7m gator all day mainly due to using both footstraps consistently.... about time! Thanks again for the sugestion of putting one strap in the middle. Carve 99L, Finworks 35cm, Gator 7.0M
