AlfaMale (2084km): Lovely sail at Ramsgate beach, with some significant chop building. Took out my new Exocet 91L, with a 39cm Select S07 fin, and top-speeded on a Flying Objects 32cm Nitro with my aging 6.8m Gun Mega Race. Great board. Highly recomended. Also sailed on my 5.5 TR4, to about 24kts. Used some new adjustable harness lines with the 6.8. Took ages to get comfortable with longer lines. I like them short. But trying longer for safer speeds. It was a strugle finding the best compromise between lower boom to help prevent spin-out and higher boom to make the apparent length of the lines shorter. All alone, except for about 3 kite surf lessons. It looks like I got the best part of the day, 11 to 3!

Marty1970 (1069km): Sans Souci, NSW, AU JP Slalom 68, NP RS:Slalom MKIV 7.8, select 37. Sorry team, not a great contribution, very nice day but water was a bit too choppy for my taste on a slalom board, still is always good to get in the water... | ||||||||||||||||||
