Perfect noreaster day at Jimmys Beach. Good to get back on the slalom gear after a few days of battling with the formula board. Some good runs up and down the flatwater strip behind the dunes with Byron, Conan and Sean Dayhew.

After playing sandcastles on the beach with the kids for a while, my 4 year old said he wanted to go for a sail with me. So pulled out the Marmong club Start that I have borrowed for the week and went out for a cruise. Even with his 18 kg sitting on the front I managed to get the board planing, which sent David into squeals of laughter. I think he's hooked!
Top speed with toddler on board: 14.97 kts
I unloaded him then tried for some "speed runs" on the start. Top speed: 20.54 kts!
