Had a nice sail in the warm brown water of Lake Macquarie..10-15 knot ENE.This would be the best sail I have had on this new gear.Even got 2 new PBs ,just to show I am improving..It's about time!!!!

Wind was good strength ..Boom a bit lower, mast base back 20mm and actually felt comfortable enough to sail 44kms ..Up/Down wind angles not great but can only improve with some TOW.

 Actually had a bit of a smile rather than the "face of fear"after a down wind run..

Now just need the wind to be nice for us next Saturday for Club racing.

Greg,

The two formula sailors were Tristan (testing his new 11m TR8 and shiny new boom) and I . Was lovely light wind formula conditions and we worked from Wangi pt to Green Point 4-5 times before I was spent.

Saw you guys off Coal point  - for the first time this summer have sailed without heaps of boat traffic and only weed to contend with
