The wind eventually came in right on 4.30pm, so had a bit of fun. Not much water though so very short runs. Towards the end thought I'd have a look down the entrance... but the wind wasn't quite the right direction and once I was too far down couldn't get back. Luckily had a pre-arranged pick up or would have been a long walk!

No wind at Inverloch, so made the extra trek to Shallow Inlet. Winds light at first, but built up to 15-20 knots E by 5pm, with some stronger gusts.
Started with 110L/6.5 Gaastra, then went to 135L/7.5 KA, then back to 110L X-Cite with 6.5 Gaastra - this time with a weed fin as I spun out a few times on weed (no, not that sort of weed!). Good day, but a #$@%^ long trip back to Melbourne.

A big thanks to Mick for sacraficing himself to the wind gods. Wind came in after Mick left.
Got out on the 6.2M Goya Freewave but though it felt comfortable enough, I was never really powered up. 118 Techno

JP Super Sport 118 Pro with 43cm stock fin, Severne 6.7.
Woohoo !
That was the sound I made as I screamed into a new PB!! When the E'ly finally built to 15-20, only trouble was real short runs due to super low tide at Anglers. Glad the GPS Unit didn't erase this time !!

WIND: E <5 KTS, TURNING SW THEN SE <12KTS
TIDE: OUTGOING TO SLACK
GEAR: Longboard 12'6, KA KOYOTE 8.3
DETAILS: Had to be off the water early so I got down there at sparrows fart. Next to no wind but thought itd bee good up wind practise so I headed out on the Easterly. Against a good 5 knots of tide I reckon I sau\iled about 5 k's of distance to make about 500metres of distance over ground! The wind then swung SW before turning ESE-SE. Nice runs down Gidgets and back to the mouth. Pete came out on the Wally and we went for a Longboard nautical mile...great fun!
I got off the water around 4pm- giving the wind plenty of time to come up for evey one else!

Long day on the Inlet
1st on the Wally with Mick, attempted NM from the mouth to the pier. Way cool fun, had Mick on Starboard tack, but he had me on port
2nd switched to 145 Rocket & 7.0 Kult. Dodge the spit at low tide out in the main channel as tracked to Point Smyth for hour or so.
3rd wind came up further so jumped on Fanatic Cross, 6.1 NP Zen. Tide was coming in so didn't have to navigate the spit in the main channel anymore.
Came in late as my biceps were non-functioning and bit hungry. I packed two bananas, next time will bring three
