The wind started to blow in the late afternoon, out until sunset. Chose the big board and "small" sail just to be on the safe side in offshore conditions. A fun session with Jurex.

Some guys from a Croatian team were out on big equipment.

Square runs.

Unfortunately not, Bora is a relatively cold and gusty wind coming down from mountains. Its a katabatic wind that blows strongly mainly in wintertime.. You can read more about here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bora_(wind)

Borino wind (small Bora) is a lighter version of the Bora that blows early in the morning in summertime, its normally not so gusty as Bora,  but also much lighter.

We have also some other wind regimes, like Scirocco (SE),  Tramontana(N), Libeccio (SW) and Maestrale (NW) (also known as Mistral), but the rarely exceed 15 knots in this region.

PS Actually it was not that cold on the water and we could surf without gloves.. However, the water is still cold, around 7-8°C, and these open type gloves do no harm..Smile
