Golden Beach, QLD, AU  95 naish sp 6.6 koncept 31 select

Was looking forward to a quick sail after work even though the tide had changed and the water eas getting choppy. Sailed over toward Bribie hit a sandbank and broke my mast. Now a full scalle viking rescue was required. Concerned partner Rudi , RAAQ wingman Hawk and trusty Knut all arrived to lend a hand. Ended up swimming board and sail back to land - it wasn't very far as the sand bank probably extends out about half of the distance.

Lake Weyba, QLD, AU

I tried lake Weyba for the first time. It wasn't too bad with some nice places to rig and the water wasn't too choppy. The wind was still a bit gusty from 15 to 20 knots. I sailed my Naish Hybrid 90 litre and a Hot Sails speed demon 6.6. It was quite pleasant until my stainless harness hook broke. I didn't think that I'd put on that much weight! That was the end of the sail as I had no spare with me.

Golden Beach, QLD, AU Isonic 76,31cm caspar, Naish SP 60, 25cm caspar and 6.2 Reflex 3. Good sail with some of the vikings, no flat water but good fun, started on the isonic76 and did the 33kts, tried out the SP 60 but could not improve on it, good to get some practice on it though. Really happy with the sail, still needs a bit of tweaking...... might give Odin a call lol. Could have used less downhaul maybe.Helga get some polaroids ha ha. P.S. my alphas were shit today
