Jammer dat ik moest werken in de namiddag en pas rond 17u het water op.

Toen bleek dat het beste voorbij was<img alt=

Amazing how the spot can change within 24h! Yesterday there were no shallow parts near the shore, today someone hit the sandbar and broke his mast.

So I went for short safe runs. It looked as if the wind was strong but somehow it gave not enough power.

Nice sailing with the UK guys, Martin who showed up and all the others. It was regrettable my Belgian speedfriends were not here to push me.

Tried all the fins Dave borrowed but best speed was with this Caspar.

This session brought me a little PR

Edit: Now I'm back home I think about some things.

Maube I should have used the 6.3 insted of 5.6 because it was not 40knt blowing but more like 35 knt? Changing fin's was maybe not a good idea, afterwards, and now knowing wat the conditions would be, I should have sticked to the 25, I have the idea that in my last two runs it would have been faster, because the wind was not stronger than in the best part of my session. On the other hand, without testing, how would I know how they behave?

A part of me is pleased with the PR, wich I call \"a salami-PR\" because I seem to improve my best speed with verry thin slices, but the other part thinks it could have been faster.
