Great fun westerly down at the airport. Wind was 10-20kts and shifting 30deg in the strong gusts made it hard to keep it all settled. Nice to get out after not sailing for 3 or 4 weeks now.

Reallly surprised how well the 28 fin hung in with the 6.6 sail in some pretty overpowered conditions.
Great day waited a while for it to come in - around 10:30 at 10 to 25knts some really big gusts you just had to sit out.

Big gear day today. The big westerly we were all salivating for didn't eventuate and it just teased us all day. Up and down with some ok gusts but still lots of fun being out on the water. Plenty of cockies up there along with the ususal suspects (Millsy) and a couple down from Lake Macquarie. I hate weed, can't wait for summer to get back to Botany Bay!!!

great fun though - amazing to see the lake so popular

Early start, then long wait for the wind. Great fun on the S-Type (got a new PB for that board, 35.5 knots)
After lunch, the wind really kicked in so I changed down to the CA SP50 and that killed the wind. I had only one decent run which was MAGIC!
Great fun with Dave and the Gustbusters (great name for a band btw)

Great to see a good crew out incl Rex & Larko plus the Mad Marauders.
Started with a Caveman weed but it was crap, changed to Select weed, let off some downhaul - & then had fun.
First time at Canton, only a bit over an hours drive. Great to be back on the water (with new GPS)

Case of the missing wind. Forecast was good but the reality wasnt. Struggled pretty much all day except for one or two just powered runs.
Tried a big Caveman not so raked weedy, crap. Had to keep stopping to clear couple kg's of weed. The lightweights were killing it.
When the wind did pick up it was OK but in the end knee got too sore from the water. Nowhere as cold as I expected though.
Had a couple of runs on Mick's battleship and spinnaker, thanks mate. Good turnout and good to see all the boys. Nice day.

4570 days ago Primbe, Lake Illawarra, South Westerly, swinging westerly right at the end. Gaastra Matrix 7.5 (2008), Starboard Hypersonic 105 (2003), Select XXL weed fin, multiple wetsuits! Rigged big and had a nice session. Wind seemed to fill in and become steadier towards the end of the day, but Bellambi Wind trace doesn't show this. Spent very little time off the plane, and only 3 or 4 occasions bunkered down to ride out squalls.
