JP Super Sport 118, with two of Mick's Weed fins (thats a story in itself!)
KA Koyote 7.4

Gusty N to NNE, lot's of water thanks to high tide and wind surge.  Started out with Mick's 38cm Weed fin - coasting along at about 15kn and a huge spinout... thought there was no way the fin was THAT loaded up... turns out the fin had broken in the box right along the long bolt !  LOOOOONG walk back with Mick to keep me company.  Switched over to Mick's other spare fin - 33cm G10 Mahali (?)

Had a blast as the wind picked up to 22-25 KN at Point Wilson... still slower than Josh on the day :-(  Thanks Red !!!!

LOCATION SWAN BAY

WIND:  N-NW- <18 KNOTS

GEAR:  CA FR 77, KA KOYOTE 7.4

DETAILS:  Great Friday session with Red and Roy, Joel and Josh.

Lots of water so the need to watch the mudbanks wasnt as critical.  Still had some moments when I looked down and saw just how shallow it was.  Still, this spot is amazing when  its on!...huge long runs and flat water.

Floated back with Roy after the fin broke and then the wind started to die.  Came in and hung out for about half an hour and then the wind came up for another spell.

A great day.
