After the past couple of months of good wind I found today tiring with the 8.8. Its like trying to sail with a king size mattress compared to my other sails. PB's on the kit in not a lot of wind, the wall was showing 16knots for most of my session, one good run where I found a gust.

I know I can get this sail over 30knots, but I am finding it hard to bear off with such a big fin, it keeps wanting to turn back across the wind.

After I came in the wind picked up. Decided to rest and recover ready for another good session after work tomorrow. Even Carlsberg couldnt design a better final week to the school work year :-D.....sods law, next week its looking like summer is coming and the wind will go (I say this in the hope the summer decides to bugger off and let the wind stay!)

Had a great session and waved to the armed guards at the academy. Pete can you look at my GPS because it's not showing alphas, thank you.
