Interesting afternoons sailing with Ian. Wind went from 5knts to too much in around 5 secs somtimes. Still had the new board out for a sail at last. One very interesting dismount. I'd swear the board was at 90° to the water before I got it down and then crashed.

Wild - forgot to switch GPS on until the last two races the first of which I pulled out of with a footstrap pulled out of the board, the second race was survival only

Interesting to compare my data against James - in those conditions speed comes through control   - lets hope it doesnt comletely die off for tommorow

Im a fair weather formula sailor. so today was not a good day for racing for me. maui 10.0 m and 159 formula first race only,then

missed race 2 while changing down to maui 8.4 m. wind gusting high 20s i reckon. 4 races held. i wonder whats on the menue tomorrow!

Valentine, NSW, AU gusty, either overpowered or underpowered, lots of chop. Pretty standard sail for a westerly
