Lyttelton Harbour, NZ

Nice day on the harbour. About 15+ kts ENE. The forecast wasn't promising but we got some wind in the end.

Started out on the Exo Scross 115 as the wind was light and I puttered around for a while on and off the plane. The wind built a little and I had to fiddle around a bit with settings to get things feeling nice, including changing down to the Choco 34 fin. After that things were going well Tongue out. The wind continued to build and I switched onto the Mistral Flow. This was nicer again and I had a solid session nicely powered. I’m concentrating hard on gybing as it’s the skill I need to improve the most so happy with today’s alpha PB. Probably not as much wind as my last session so the top speeds are low, but good sailing nonetheless. The water colour here is nice, very green and the sunlight really catches it. It’s fairly reminiscent of Moreton Bay but not as blue (and a shed-load colder).

Ezzy Cheetah 6.5, Exo Cross 115 (Choco 34) then Mistral Flow 96 (stock fin)

Queens Beach, QLD, AU

JP FSW 92, Alpha 5.4 and fusion 6.1. Difficult sail. One of those days where 5.8 would be ideal. Lots of pics to put on seabreezre later.

Haggar was a ledgend today. Out on the futura 111 and 6 in very rough water.

Nice sail at Queens with a great crowd. Used the F111 and Acid 86 but have to say I enjoyed the Futura better : )

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU  7.5 koncept 113 falcon. Rigged before the wind came in. Dredged around for a while then the wind came in nicely.

A good sail in the end even though it was a bit of a  long wait.

On ya Rags, nice PB was it on the Flow ?? Look forward to seeing your pickies Bill. The Futura was cool after I tuned everything. It seems to be a lot rougher in a NE then a SE at Queens for some reason. The Venom 36 went well, wasnt sticky at all but I'd like to try it with a 38 as well.
