First sail in a while and it was awesome to be back out. Got to use my new toy, my second hand Falcon 113 and teamed it up with a brand spankers BP Type R fin and Koncept 7.5. Quite a lot of East in the wind so it made for beautiful smooth runs the whole length of the runway making for a nice NM. Late in the day the wind became stronger but patchier and went more Nor East which chopped the water up a bit too. The new board was amazing, slicing through the chop, honking upwind and gliding through the lulls with ease.
A massive thanks to one Johnny Miller for picking my board and delivering it to me, you know I luv ya mate
A big crowd out today, Rick on his new JP Fluoro slalom, Mike on his new second hand Isonic and quite a few others making use of Remi's demo day. When I was packing up I reckon there must have been a good 40 people out. All signs looking good for a great Summer.

Supposed to be half decent but was fairly horrible. One of those days that had everything to conspire against us. After talking to Rexy, Botany likes East but Lake Dangerous doesnt. That combined with 20 little sailing crafts plus all the committee boats smack dab in the middle of the sailing area and shifty gusty wind and it was all over the shop.
Good to see the boys & Millsy and Lyds popped in but as Wysey said, Narra wasnt on today.
Falcon 121, NP RSR III 7.8, Sting II 44.

...and in with the new!
I finally got to get the new toy wet today and it's quite a quick little thing. Far more active than the CA, it needs a driver not a passenger. There's a balancing act between the lift from the fin and down force from the mast.
The wind didn't quite fill in as expected, but there was still enough to have fun until sunset
