sick_em_rex (4055km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU The RSR 6.7 was in the shop for repairs so I had my choice of my 5.8 or 7.5. Early on I would have rigged the big one but it looked to be building so I went the 5.8. Bad choice at first as I was only planing 60% of the time. I tried to counter act it by going out on my Falcon 113 and it certainly helped. After a quick refuel break with Mike we went back out and the wind had freshened a tad meaning I was planing now 80% of the time at least. Had some nicely lit runs bearing away into the beach and managed a pb on my big board for 2 sec. Then again, it is only the second time I've used it but I'm happy to push it above 30 knots. Would like to have stayed longer but the prospect of peak hour traffic wasn't too appealing so left Mike and the others to play in a nice 15-18 knots. He certainly has his little iSonic dialled in nicely and is looking super comfortable.
Peter (Wineman) (1800km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU JP SuperX 116, Gunn 5.8, 36 fin Nice arvo session cut short when hit ribs on boom! Whohoo - a 2sec PB. Up by 2seconds. Saw Michael T fangin down the runway, so gave chase. A bit lumpy but felt noice & controlled. Good to see lots out midweek. Sure beats working after lunch.
Michael Thomson (21372km): Kyeemagh 15-25 NE iSonic 90, Loft Switchblade 7.3, 36cm Techtonics Talon 36 Well that sure beats working! Started out early on with Troy and Andrew cruising around in the lighter stuff then it started to build slowly. On one of my runs, I ducked in front of Pete just near the runway and took off downwind for a few hundred metres. I checked over my shoulder to see if it was clear to kick out of the run and Pete was blasting down the runway with his hair on fire! Awesome run Pete!!!
