Great session....
Starboard Hypersonic 105, 44cm Drake Slalom Fin with KA Koyote 7.4
Started off looking to be a light wind session with an incoming tide, so managed to try out the Hyper... Wow. Man can that thing crank upwind !!
The breeze filled in to a decent SW average about 15KN.
Not too much chop given a low high tide. Plenty of other sailors out which made the day great.

WIND: W TURNING WSW 10-15 KNOTS UP TO 18
GEAR: JP Excite160, 52 cm fin down to CA FR 77, C3 44cm, KA Kocept 8.5
Details: Wind was westerly and patchy early on so I thought it would be a bit of fun to take the barge (JP) out. There was just enough breeze to get planing, and I remembered how nich this board was in marginal conditions. The breeze built and I took it off the wind to about 24 knots, but with a 52cm fin I wasnt game to try geting all the way down the run. After a few testing runs (ie going further and further down the run each time) I found that the 52cm was making it to the end without touching...and it was mid tide. Had a couple of nice long blasts before the wind came up and I switched down to the CA. By this time the tide was really moving so there was no flat water to be had.
