Pitt Water, TAS, AU

JP Supersport 65, KA Koyote 6.6

mmm, not much went right.

Decided to launch at 5 mile, thought I'd sail up to causeway, so if the wind died I'd have a downwinder to get back.

Should have rigged smaller gear, was way too overpowered.

Decided to come in and get smaller stuff, broke harness line on way in.

Spare lines at home.

Steve looked like he was cranking, on a mission, suspect some good numbers.

Good fun sail but hard work. Wind was up and down, coming in really windy at times. 2013 Isonic 107 carbon, 40cm C3 sting 2 and reflex R3 7.0. Such a fantastic combo. The 107 was flying in the smoother water. Great to see Bear, Stewie and Graham out there.

Hobart, TAS, AU Wind was very patchy, made it tough going. JP 68 Blade 7.0

Pittwater, first time from the gate (now accessable) end. Enjoyed it but on and off gusty conditions were testing. Steve was really hooting in the puffs.

6.2m rs racing, sonic 95.

Well done Steve, top set of numbers.  Sounds like it was fun.  Great you were able to get through that boom gate!!!!  Can't wait to have another sail out from there.

Nice one Steve Cool I had a quick sail there after work but it was crap, 0 to 30+ knots in a blink of an eye was not fun so chucked it in after a few runs.. i hope we get it real good there soon!

Yeah didn't make it up to the causeway end - just a few runs down near 5 mile trying to work out whether to go to the hassle of downsizing gear or whether the wind would drop a bit. Then the line broke so decision was made.

Great Distance there Steve for such a gusty day, on ya for your determination. Great speeds there Bear & Gordo. And Easty I feel for you I hate days like that! I bet once the council starts seeing cars in there they lock it up again. Gee they want people to get out and be active, then encourage it!!
